Rating:  5/5 Stars

Description (From Goodreads):

Two years ago, Scarlet awoke in the forest alone, afraid, and unable to remember anything. Lost and confused, her life was a mystery...until she met a boy with a familiar voice.  Gabriel Archer has a voice from her past, and Scarlet's determined to remember why. She immerses herself in his life only to discover he has a brother he's kept hidden from her: Tristan Archer.  Upon meeting Tristan, Scarlet's world becomes even more muddled. While she's instinctively drawn to Gabriel, she's impossibly drawn to Tristan--and confused out of her mind. As she tries to piece together her history Scarlet realizes her past...might just be the death of her.

My Thoughts:

I really loved Anew.  I enjoy paranormal romance and was really thrilled at the viewpoint Chelsea Fine presented in this book.  I haven't really been drawn to many books about reincarnation, but Anew was a very pleasant surprise.  It was different, mysterious, and intriguing.  This is a romance that will definitely tug at your heart strings.  The love triangle in this book was very well excuted, romantic, and emotion packed.  I stayed up way too late reading it because I honestly couldn't wait to find out what happened next.  It was unpredictable and surprising, which I really liked.  The Archer brother's in this book are totally hot and swoon worthy, especially Tristan, and who doesn't love that.  Chelsea presents the story from  from Scarlett, Gabriel, and Tristan's viewpoints, so you really feel connected to each of them, and are able to relate to what each character is experiencing.  The ending is definetely a cliffhanger and I absolutely can't wait for the next book to come out this summer.  I don't want to give away too much, because the element of surprise is one of the things that makes this book so enjoyable.  If you want a good read, Anew definitely fits the bill.

  3. I really loved this book. I'm glad that it didn't involve werewolves, vampires, fairies, mermaids, or any of the currently popular fictional beings. This book also had an interesting take on the love triangle. I'm really happy about Scarlet and how realistic she is.
