Description:He may have given her up without a fight, but Sawyer Vincent is far from over losing the girl he’s loved all of his life. Instead of giving up his best friend and the girl he thought he’d spend forever with, he gave Ashton and his brother Beau his blessing. However, adjusting to seeing Ashton wrapped up in Beau’s arms isn’t easy. Complicating everything even more, Ashton’s cousin Lana is in town for the summer. Sweet, kind, soft-spoken Lana, who gets under his skin. Just being near her makes him forget all about Ashton and his broken heart. Lana is everything he wanted Ashton to be except she isn’t Ashton. She lacks the backbone to stand up for herself and confidence that Ashton wears like a crown.

Lana McDaniel has lived her life in her cousin's shadow. While Lana struggled with her grades no matter how hard she tried, her mother praised Ashton's intelligence. She hadn’t been blessed with Ashton’s blond hair and flawless skin, but that didn't keep her mother from lamenting her naturally red hair and freckles. But none of that would have mattered if Ashton hadn’t always had Sawyer Vincent wrapped around her finger -- the only boy Lana wanted. Once Ashton let Sawyer go, Lana had been so sure that he’d move on. Determined to make Sawyer finally see her, she'd talked her mother into letting her spend the summer with Ashton. But Sawyer is still in love with Ashton, and Lana isn’t going to be anyone's rebound girl. No matter how yummy Sawyer Vincent’s kisses taste.

My Thoughts:  First of all let me say that I am a total Abbi Glines fan.  I was ecstatic when I found out she was writing The  Vincent Brothers, because I totally and completely fell in love with Beau Vincent in The Vincent Boys.  To me, Beau Vincent is the epitome of hotness.  When I found out that The Vincent Brothers was about Sawyer Vincent, I wondered if it could possibly be as good as the first book, but true to form, Abbi Glines NEVER disappoints.  The Vincent Brothers was amazing.  The story picks up six months after Sawyer and Ashton have broken up and he gave his blessing to her to be with Beau, only Sawyer is finding this to be a lot harder than he anticipated.  Despite the time frame, he is as angry as ever, every time he sees them together.  Lana McDaniel, Ashton's cousin, has always had a thing for Sawyer.  As a matter of fact, Sawyer was the main reason she was coming to spend the summer in Alabama with Ashton, only the Lana from six months ago isn't the same Lana that she used to be, having undergone a transformation, now no longer prim, proper and reserved, but smoking hot, which did not go unnoticed by Sawyer, or the other guys in the story.

This is Sawyer and Lana's story, and let me tell you, the Sawyer Vincent that we got to know in The Vincent Boys is not the same Sawyer Vincent that we get to know in The Vincent Brothers.  Granted Beau will always be my first choice (I always go for the hot bad boys), but Sawyer is coming in a close second.  Those Vincent Boys are pretty irresistible.  I really loved getting to know Lana.  I really liked her a lot.  Even though she puts up with a lot, she is quick to forgive, but also stands her ground.  The chemistry between Lana and Sawyer is sizzling.  Like I said, it is not the same Sawyer we got to know in book one.  There are some very hot scenes that left me fanning my face.  Sawyer is a jerk a few times, but he is very repentant afterwards, and it was touching to see him so sincere and emotional with his apology.  It made me want to go jump in his arms to.  It was also good to see what was going on with Beau and Ashton now, and some of the other characters, as well as getting to know some new ones.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Vincent Brothers and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to read and review it early.  Abbi Glines is an artist.  The pictures she paints with her words are nothing short of brilliant, enabling the reader to feel like you are right there in the middle of it all, watching and experiencing everything.  One thing I especially enjoyed was the ending of this book.  It left me feeling completely satisfied and happy with where the series went.  If you love contemporary romance that sizzles, with two of the hottest guys around, then I encourage you to read The Vincent Boys and The Vincent Brothers.

Here are a few teasers:

All you have to do is hold on tight. Wrap your legs and arms around me and I got the rest of this.” - Sawyer Vincent from The Vincent Brothers coming 6/5/12

A warm hand closed around my hand and I squeaked in suprise.  Sawyer chuckled and slipped his fingers between mine, "Come on sweet little Lana.  You can come entertain me since you've been stranded.  Besides, I've been looking at those sexy legs of yours all night.  You make them shorts look real good."  I gaped at him as he pulled me over to an empty couch.  Had Sawyer just said my legs were sexy?  I didn't have time to think about his statement before he was pulling me down to sit in his lap.

"With you, things are different.  I'm not sure what it is, but when I'm with you I feel something I've never felt before.  I do want you.  Bad.  It surprises me and scares the shit out of me............."

About the Author:  Abbi Glines can be found hanging out with rockstars, taking out her yacht on weekends for a party cruise, sky diving, or surfing in Maui. Okay maybe she needs to keep her imagination focused on her writing only. In the real world, Abbi can be found hauling kids (several who seem to show up that don’t belong to her) to all their social events, hiding under the covers with her MacBook in hopes her husband won’t catch her watching Buffy on Netflix again, and sneaking off to Barnes and Noble to spend hours lost in the yummy goodness of books. If you want to find her then check Twitter first because she has a severe addiction to tweeting @abbiglines.  She also blogs regularly, but rarely about anything life changing.  She also really enjoys talking about herself in the third person.
