Dying sucks--and high school senior Ember McWilliams knows firsthand. After a fatal car accident, her gifted little sister brought her back. Now anything Ember touches dies. And that, well, really blows.
Ember operates on a no-touch policy with all living things--including boys. When Hayden Cromwell shows up, quoting Oscar Wilde and claiming her curse is a gift, she thinks he’s a crazed cutie. But when he tells her he can help control it, she’s more than interested. There’s just one catch: Ember has to trust Hayden's adopted father, a man she's sure has sinister reasons for collecting children whose abilities even weird her out. However, she’s willing to do anything to hold her sister's hand again. And hell, she'd also like to be able to kiss Hayden. Who wouldn't?
But when Ember learns the accident that turned her into a freak may not've been an accident at all, she’s not sure who to trust. Someone wanted her dead, and the closer she gets to the truth, the closer she is to losing not only her heart, but her life. For real this time.

My Thoughts:  Jennifer Armentrout has dazzled her fans again in her upcoming young adult paranormal release “Cursed.”  I am a huge Jennifer Armentrout fan and absolutely love everything she has written, and she has amazed me yet again with Cursed.

Ember McWilliams is a teenage girl whose life was forever changed after her family was in a tragic car accident two years ago.  Not only has Ember had to deal with the death of her father, she has had to deal with her own death.  That’s right, Ember also died in the crash that night.  Her little sister Olivia’s special touch brought her back to life, but her experience has left her scarred both inside and outside, and now every living thing she touches dies.  On top of that, her mom has checked out both mentally and emotionally.  Ember has been trying to hold things together, take care of Olivia, and endure the constant harassment of kids at school who tease and mock her because of her scars and the gloves she wears on her hands.  Most people would consider a second chance at life a gift, but all Ember can think is that she is cursed.  She has tried to come to terms with the fact that she can never have a normal relationship, never be able to touch anyone, and even worse, will have to die a virgin.  Just when she thinks she has gotten a handle on this, in walks the totally swoon-worthy Hayden Cromwell, and he’s just oozing with hotness, and Mr. Hotness tells Ember he can help her control her gift.  That’s right, her gift.  See Hayden tries to convince Ember that she is gifted, not cursed.  Ember has to learn to trust not only Hayden, who has his own secrets, but his father, and his “unusual” family that she and Olivia are now living with, in order to try to control her gift and get the answers she is looking for surrounding her father’s death and the accident that caused it.  The question is can she handle those answers when she finds them?

Cursed is a unique and thrilling paranormal story that is cloaked in mystery and suspense, with that special one of a kind romantic chemistry that only Jennifer Armentrout can deliver.  The chemistry between Hayden and Ember is off the charts hot, and the story line itself is amazing with twists and turn that keep you on the edge of your seat craving more.  Jennifer has taken the deadly touch concept and created a fresh and unique story unlike any other that sucks you right in and keeps you glued to the pages until the end.  Jennifer has lived up to her now trademark reputation and has delivered another incredibly amazing heroine and super hot yet mysterious guy who loves her, that all her readers can swoon over and dream about.  Cursed is another outstanding novel from an outstanding author.

Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in West Virginia. All the rumors you've heard about her state aren’t true. Well, mostly. When she’s not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write. She shares her home with her husband, his K-9 partner named Diesel, and her hyper Jack Russell Loki. Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent her time writing short stories...therefore explaining her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes Adult and Young Adult Urban Fantasy and Romance.
