Some things are worth waiting for…
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.
Some things are worth experiencing…
Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.
Some things should never be kept quiet…
But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?
And some things are worth fighting for…

My Thoughts: Wait For You is another outstanding novel from J. Lynn/Jennifer Armentrout. I absolutely loved it, and I absolutely loved Cam. He is definitely one of my most favorite book boyfriends ever. Avery Morgansten is 19 years old and in her freshman year of college. She wants nothing more than a fresh start away from her hometown in Texas.....away from her family.......away from the people there........away from the memories that haunt her. Something terrible happened to Avery when she was 14 years old, and the fear, hurt, and subsequent after effects from that incident have left her wounded, guarded, and she has a really hard time trusting. These are things she wants to desperately overcome, but sometime old habits die hard. On her way to her first day of class she runs into Cameron "Cam" Hamilton, literally. When she looks up at him, she finds herself face-to-face with the most beautiful guy she has ever seen who has eyes so blue that they can't possibly real, and a smile that will melt your heart. Mr. hotness personified absolutely throws her for a loop, especially when she keeps running into him, and then discovers that she lives across the hall from him.
Cam Hamilton is sex on a stick and then some, and he is a really nice guy to, at least to Avery. He has a reputation as ladies man, so Avery is leery of him, and despite his attempts to ask her out, she keeps telling him no. Cam is persistent and determined to get to know Avery, and they wind up become really great friends. He's patient with her, somehow sensing her fears, and the relationship grows over time into something much more than friendship......, but will the past and its memories be more than Avery and Cam can overcome?

"Avery Morgansten, we meet again." He was the last person I wanted to see. I had the shittiest luck known to man. "Cameron Hamilton...hi." ....... "We have to stop meeting like this."...."You keep running over me, me almost running over you?" Cam elaborated. "It's like we're a catastrophe waiting to happen."
Cam took a bite of his cookie and closed his eyes. A deep sound emanated from his throat - a growl of pleasure. My heart jumped and my cheeks heated up even more as I stared at him. He made the sound again, and my mouth dropped open..... "Is it really that good?" I asked, glancing down at the cookie in my lap. "Oh, yeah, this is the shit. I told you that last night. Be better if I had some milk." He took another bite. "Mmm, milk." I dared another peek at him and he looked like he was on the verge of having an orgasm or something. One eye opened. "It's the combination of walnut and chocolate. You mix that together and it's like an explosion of sex in your mouth, but not as messy...."
"Weren't you paying attention in class when Drage went over this and the imagining cameras?" I crossed my arms. "You were drawing the cast of Duck Dynasty when he was going over that." ....."You're actually a pretty good artist."
"You're wasting your time." "When it concerns you, it's never a waste of my time," he replied.
Taking a deep breath, I forced the words out. "I had a really good time tonight." Cam stared at me a moment then he smiled. The dimple appeared in his left cheek, and them my own lips responded in kind. "I know."
He stepped into my apartment, his gaze starting at the top of my head and making it all the way to the bottom of m black boots. Amazing how a look could feel like a touch and I felt it in a way that put my earlier edginess to shame.
His lips twitched as if he wished to smile. "It's not a bad thing. You're going to be nervous."
"That's because I'm awesome."
"Goodnight, Avery." And then he kissed me - kissed me like he had right before he'd left the night of our date. Kissed me like he was a man starving for oxygen and I was the only air he needed to breathe.
"F**k Avery. You think I don't want you?" His voice came out low, almost a growl. "There's not a single part of you that I don't want, you understand? I want to be on you and inside you. I want you against the wall, on the couch, in your bed, in my bed, and every f**king place I can possibly think of, and trust me, I have a vast imagination when it comes to these kinds of things. Don't ever doubt that I want you.
"I closed my eyes breathing heavily. "Well, that was...really sort of perfect."
"I'm really sort of perfect he replied..."Everyone else knows that. You're just a little slow on the uptake." I laughed....."You coming back over?"
"Always," he said kissing me quickly. "Okay." I opened my eyes smiling. "I'll wait for you."
