Book description:

I’m not scripting my life anymore.
I’m living it.
I’m done with the God of all Hotties.
I’m going to give my heart to the boy who I think deserves it.
The boy whose kisses are hotter than molten lava.
The boy who offered me the key to his heart.
The boy who asked me to Homecoming in a big, sexy way.

There are so many things to look forward to.
Parties at the Cave. Homecoming festivities. Drama Tryouts. Shopping trips to NY.
But things aren’t always as perfect as they seem.
I find out that my best friend has been keeping a secret from me.
Not that I can blame him.
I have secrets too.
But, for now, I’m going to pretend I’m just a normal girl.
I’m going to pretend he’s not still out there.
I’m going to pretend he’s not getting desperate.
I’m going to pretend I’ll never see him again.
But, I will.
And this time, I might not get away.

My Thoughts:  Date Me is the third installment in the Keatyn Chronicles and if you haven't begun this series yet, I have to tell you it is absolutely fabulous.  I love Jillian Dodd's writing and The Keatyn Chronicles is one of my favorite series.  In the beginning of each book Jillian Dodd tells you "This book series is similar to a television series.  There is no recap of what happened earlier.  This book starts the day the last one finished off."  That is exactly what this series is like and it works perfectly.  Date Me begins after Dawson has asked Keatie to homecoming and picks up from there.  Trust Me, there is never a dull moment in the lives of Keatyn and her friends.

I adore Keatyn's character.  She is just awesome.  She's not perfect, she likes to party and have fun, has hot sex with her boyfriend, and it just totally all works for her.  I wouldn't change a thing about her.  Dawson, sweet sexy Dawson.  I just love him.  I went from team Cush in book one, to team Dawson in book two, and in book three, I am torn.  I adore Dawson, but then there is Aiden, "The God of All Hotties," as he has been dubbed by Keatyn, who keeps popping up in the picture and believe me, Keatyn has not exaggerated in the namesake she has given him.  There is of course plenty of drama, really fun drama, but drama nonetheless, which is an integral part of this story.  Riley and Dallas still play big roles in Keatyn's life and I love her friendship with them, especially Riley, who is Dawson's little brother.  Riley has quickly become Keatyn's best friend and "hero" on more than one occasion.  The evil Vincent is still in the picture and still poses a major threat to Keatyn and her family.  She has a couple of close calls in that regard in Date Me also.  All the other secondary characters are awesome and I really just loved them all, with the exception of Whitney, Dawson's ex-girlfriend and the queen biatch at the school.

Again, I just have to reiterate what absolutely fabulous series this is. It is truly one of the most fun series I have read, and I can't encourage you enough to get it.  Is it realistic?  Probably not.  Would it make a great television series?  Absolutely!  I think if you go into the series looking at it just like that, as pure unadulterated entertainment that is hilarious, sexy, and fun, then you will be in for a treat.  I loved Date Me, I love the series, and I absolutely cannot wait for Love Me, the next installment to come out.

Favorite Quotes:

He runs his fingers through my hair and kisses my cheek.  "You own me.  You know that right?  Totally and completely own me."

"Let go of me," she says.  I smile.  "Nope, it's time for you to embrace your inner slut."

I turn around, standing in front of him, push my back into his chest and pull his arm around to my stomach, where it presses against my bare skin, leaving a scar, I'm sure.  I shake my ass into him, and he finally seems to be getting it.  He's moving with a little more rhythm.  What can I say?  I'm a good teacher.  I put my hands on top of his and move them around on my body in the name of dancing.  This would be even funner if we were naked.  Shit.  Hello?  you can't think that.  This is you helping a dance-disabled friend.  It's practically philanthropical.  I bet I could get community service hours for this.

Stalk Me (The Keatyn Chronicles Book 1)
by Jillian Dodd
Published:  September 12, 2012
Gossip Girl meets Hollywood in this steamy new series by That Boy author, Jillian Dodd.

Keatyn has everything she ever dreamed. Her life is following the script she wrote for the perfect high school experience. She's popular, goes to the best parties, dates the hottest guy, and sits at the most-coveted lunch table.

She's just not sure she wants it anymore.

Because, really, things aren't all that perfect.
Her best friend is threatening to tell everyone her perfect relationship is a scam.
Her perfect boyfriend gets drunk at every party they go to.
It's exhausting always trying to look and act perfect.
And, deep down, she isn't sure if she has any true friends.

To add to the drama, her movie star mom has a creepy stalker.
A hot, older man flirts with her and tells her they should make a movie together.
And she's crushing on an adorable surfer. Dating him would mean committing social suicide.

So she writes a new script. One where all the pieces of her life will come together in perfect harmony.
But little does she know, there's someone who will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen.

Published: November 28, 2012

Book Description:

I’ve always written scripts for my perfect life.
But no way could I have ever scripted this.
My life is so far from perfect, it’s not even funny.
All because of a stalker.

I’m at a boarding school, where I have to lie about who I am.
I can’t see my family.
I’m tutoring a hottie god that tortures me with his smile.
The most popular girl already hates me.
But there’s this boy.
This hot, sweet, sexy boy.
So I’m going to stop trying to script my life and just live it.
Because who knows how long I have left.

    1. Thanks. There are just too many books and too little time to read them. Some rich person needs to set up a foundation that pays all of us who love to read so we can do that in stead of work.

    1. There are so many boys - and it is funny, because normally I don't care for that, but Jillian just makes it work somehow, and it totally works with Keatyn.
