'Til Death Do Us Part (Lily Drake Book Two) by T. Michelle Nelson - Spotlight, Guestpost

'Til Death Do Us Part (Lily Drake #2)

Publication Date:  April 24th 2013
Publisher:  Inkspell Publishing
Synopsis:  With a doting husband and a new job training a vampire military, Lily Drake was living up to the prophecies of being the best.  Her life was seemingly perfect, until tragedy strikes bringing her a loss she's not sure she can endure.

The hard-working super mom / vampire slayer, Lily Drake, has just learned problems still exist even after you become immortal.

As everyone knows, even if you find the perfect guy, you don't always get a happily-ever-after.  Lily may have found temporary happiness being a newlywed, but the honeymoon is over.  When she finds her husband going out for late night bites with another woman, Lily has to fight to try and regain what she wants most, love and a happy family.

If Lily thought being a single mom was hard, she’ll find being married can be a bloody mess.

The Evolution of Lily Drake
by T. Michelle Nelson
When the Lily Drake series began, Lily was a normal, single-mother who worked too hard and played too little.  She was a little bitter from her divorce, a little self-conscious and not terribly confident.

Over the course of the first book, Lily became more comfortable with herself.  She begins to make time for herself, lets herself fall in love with not just one but two men and becomes less self-conscious.

In the second book, Lily has grown into the person her Aunt Rose saw in the premonitions.  She is confident, in-charge and a force with which to be reckoned.  Lily is turning into that savior and fighter she was always meant to become.  But don’t worry, our vampire mother is still as neurotic and silly as ever.

About:  T. Michelle Nelson became enamored with vampires at an early age when she watched George Hamilton in “Love at First Bite.” As she got older, her tastes leaned more toward the dark and morose, but her love of all things vampire never wavered.  Little has changed in her thirty-something years, except now T.  makes up her own macabre stories of the undead… mixed of course with a splash of romance, tough heroines and tons of dark humor.

T. Michelle Nelson is a native of Benton, Kentucky and a graduate of Murray State University holding a degree in Education.  Currently she resides in picturesque Mount Vernon, Ohio, which is also the setting of her Lily Drake series.  The first book in the series, Life and Death of Lily Drake, is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Kobo, and your other favorite online bookstores in paperback as well as e-reader formats.  The second book, 'Til Death Do Us Part, is being released by Inkspell Publishing in April of 2013 and currently, T. is working hard to finish her third book.

When she isn’t writing, you can usually find her singing out of key while playing Rock Band with her husband and son, watching B-Horror movies or wrestling with her two ill-behaved fur babies, Buddy Perro and Bunchie.

  1. This sounds like a good series that I might enjoy. I know I have seen the first book around before on other blogs and on Goodreads. I need to look into it. I love a series where there is a lot of character growth and it sounds like this is one such series.
