Synopsis:  Dez Cross has problems. She’s almost eighteen and on the verge of losing her mind thanks to the drug the Denazen corporation used to enhance her abilities. People close to her have turned their backs on the underground and are now fighting for the wrong side. And then there’s Kale... Things couldn’t get any worse.

Until, of course, they do. Denazen is about to start a new trial—this one called Domination—and it works. But that means out with the old and in with the new. The order has been given to terminate all remnants of the second trial—including Dez. The good news is that there’s a survivor from the original trial. A woman whose blood may hold the cure for the second generation of Supremacy kids' defects. But the underground Sixes aren’t the only ones who know about her.

Dez's father is willing to throw away everything he has to keep Dez from getting the cure—including the one thing that might tear her apart from the inside out.

My Thoughts:  Tremble is the third book in the Denazen series.  The books shortly after where Toxic leaves off.  Though not necessary, Faceless, Jus Accardo's novella which occurs between Toxic and Tremble is really good to read because it lets you know what has gone on with Brandt and introduces you to Devin, who both play a part in Tremble.  Denazen and Kale have all but disappeared and though she tries not to show it Dez, is heartbroken and is determined to find him.  Ginger, Dez's mom, Dax, and the other Sixes main goal is to find the cure for the serum sickness before Dez and the other supremacy kids turn 18.  Needless to say, as in every book in the series, there is pretty much nonstop action, conspiracy, lies, danger, and of course it wouldn't be complete without some romance.  I will tell you that we do see Jade in this book, and Alex, as well as Kiernan, who I could just bitch slap....ugh.

When Kale finally does make an appearance is is nothing like I expected and I had a really "WTH" moment, trying to figure out what had happened to Kale.  Jus Accardo really took me by surprise with the direction she took the story in.  OMG - I loved Kale, then I hated Kale, then I wanted to slap the crap out of Kale, then I loved Kale again.  Dez is her trademark totally badass heroine self, and handled things really well, which I totally admire her for.  The web of lies that have been woven is thick, strong, deep, and has caused some really "sticky" situations.  It takes a lot of effort for Dez, Kale, and the gang to find out the truth, which is crucial to the restoration of everyone involved.  Of course there is nonstop action and drama, as there is in every book in the series, which pretty much keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next.  I was getting a little worried about things working out, but Jus Accardo pulls it all together by the end, which was great, and sets the stage to deliver another action packed installment in the series.  Get ready for some twist, turns, and secrets, that I know I didn't see coming, to be revealed.  The ending leaves you hungry for the next book, but it doesn't leave you hanging off a cliff by your fingertips, which is a position I don't like to be in.  Overall, Tremble is a thrilling third installment in the Denazen series and I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.

  1. Oh gosh, I was going to start this series and then I saw she was starting a new series kind of like a prequel series and now I think I will just start with that series. But, I am so curious about this series. It seems like everyone loves it.
