Release Day Blitz: Someone to Love by Addison Moore - Giveaway, Review

Someone To Love (Someone To Love Series) by Addison Moore
Release Day Blitz!

Book Summary:
“If you don’t give your heart away, you can’t get it broken.” When twenty-year-old Kendall Jordan transfers across the country to Garrison University, the last thing she’s looking for is a one-night stand. Unfortunately that’s exactly what gorgeous Cruise Elton offers. Kendall has long since come to realize that love is an illusion, and Cruise couldn’t agree more—but something deep inside her wants him all for herself. So Kendall devises a plan to “play the player” and proposes that Cruise tutor her in becoming a female version of himself—Garrison University’s own playboy. But as real feelings emerge, the game gets complicated, and Kendall and Cruise will find themselves questioning everything they thought they knew about love.

This book is intended for mature audiences due to strong language and sexual content.

My Thoughts:  After transferring across the country to attend Garrison University, the last thing Kendall Jordan expects to happen is wind up needling the help of someone like Cruise Elton, an Andonis of a man who is obviously a player, after finding that her carefully laid out plans were not so carefully laid out after all. Though the hottie definitely rings her bells, one thing is for sure, Kendall doesn't believe in love at first sight. It just so happens that Cruise Ellington doesn't believe in love at first sight either, and happens to be writing his thesis on that very subject.  In fact, it is one of the first question's he asks Kendall when they meet, which of course she answers no to, but by the time the story ends, will they have the same response, or will they both have changed of their minds?

Someone To Love is a story of two beautifully broken people coming together and finally realizing that they both really just want someone to love.  I loved Kendall, or Kenny as Cruise calls her.  She is absolutely beautiful, but completely unaware of it.  She has grown up with little, so she doesn't expect much, and is happy and content with a roof over her head, especially if it is the same roof that is over Cruise's head. Cruise is one hot tamale, and every girl within a 10-mile radius wants him.  The more time he spends with Kendall, the more he realizes how much he cares for her, and how much he regrets the past few months he has spent sowing his wild oats.  I liked Cruise a lot, man-whoredom aside, he is a really great guy.  I loved the relationship between Kendall and Cruise.  The chemistry between them is through the roof, and there are tons of steamy sexy scenes that will leave you fanning you face and dropping your jaw.  The agreement they come to regarding Cruise tutoring her to be a female version of himself proves to provide some very interesting, hot, sometimes funny, and sometimes really intense situations, especially when there are outside forces conspiring against them.  The story was romantic, sexy, and well paced, and definitely kept my attention, leaving me turning the pages wanting more.  If you love contemporary romance, especially the new adult steamy kind, then Someone To Love is one book you will definitely want to add to your TBR list.
