Review: A Christmas to Remember - Jill Shalvis, Kristen Ashley, Hope Ramsay, Molly Cannon, and Marilyn Pappano

                                      A Christmas to Remember

Curl up with this heartwarming Christmas collection!
Plus: Excerpts from upcoming novels!

Jill Shalvis, Dream a Little Dream: Melissa has kept every man at a safe distance-especially firefighter Ian, a sexy friend with sexy benefits. But Ian secretly longs for more. Luckily, 'tis the season for giving love a chance . . .
My Thoughts:  I recently discovered Jill Shalvis and quickly became a fan, which is the main reason I wanted to read this Christmas collection.  Dream a Little Dream was probably my favorite story in the book.  It is short, sexy, romantic, and is quite a satisfying and complete story, despite its novella length.  I mean a hot sexy firefighter....um yes!
Kristen Ashley, Every Year: Holidays don't come easy for Shy and his brother, Landon. But with the magic of Christmas, along with a little help from Tabby and her family, the Cage brothers are about to get the gift of a lifetime . . .

My Thoughts:  This little story was actually the first thing I've read by Kristen Ashely and I must say that I loved it.  I have been hearing about her - especially from one of my favorite bloggers - Andrea at The Bookish Babe - and I knew I wanted to read one of her books.  This little novella was the perfect story to wet my appetite and make me want more.  I've already gotten Motorcycle Man because I couldn't wait to read more of this story.  Every Year is another little novella that packs a punch in a small space and definitely made this worth reading.
Hope Ramsay, Silent Night: Down on her luck and evicted from her apartment, single mother Maryanne hopes to start over in Last Chance. When the snow begins to fall, it looks like her baby might literally spend Christmas Eve in a manger. And Maryanne might celebrate the holiday with a handsome stranger.

My Thoughts:  This was a sweet story, even if a little cheesy, but I enjoy cheesy sometimes.  I did like the feel of the nativity story it had.
Molly Cannon, Have Yourself a Messy Little Christmas: Lincoln is a bachelor who's set in his ways-until a professional organizer dressed up as Mrs. Claus changes his life, one tip at a time. . .

My Thoughts:  This little story was a fun, cute, and entertaining little read.  The synopsis pretty much sums it up.
Marilyn Pappano, A Family for Christmas: War widow Ilena doesn't mind spending Christmas alone. But when a new doctor blows into town with the winter wind, will she get her secret Christmas wish?
My Thoughts:  This little story had the military angle with the war widow aspect.  It was okay.

Overall, I would give give the entire book 3 jingle bells.
