My Thoughts:  Safe in the Tycoon's Arms is the third book I've read by Jennifer Faye, and once again she delivers a heartfelt, touching, and enjoyable romance that contemporary romance fans will love.  Kate Whitley finds herself in a desperate situation when her ill daughter is in need of an operation for a life-threatening condition.  Unfortunately, Kate doesn't have the money to pay for it and is doing everything she can to raise the funds.  Thus, she finds herself in her present situation, which happens to be in the home of Lucas Carrington AKA the Tycoon heretofore mentioned in the title, at the invitation of Lucas' aunt.  Needless to stay, their relationship starts off in a somewhat strained manner.

As the story progresses, the chemistry between these two is undeniable, yet so is the tension, mistrust, and the misunderstandings, which eventually gives way to a bond formed by the common goal of raising the money for Kate's daughter's surgery.  Both characters are emotionally damaged from situations and circumstances in their past, which proves to be a hindrance they must overcome in order to have a future.

Jennnifer Faye has provided her readers once again with a wonderful romantic story that will touch your heart as you journey along with these two broken characters on their path to find love and the healing that trusting each other can bring.

Author Info
Jennifer Faye is a two-time RT Book Reviews Reviewers' Choice Best Book Award nominee. Maybe that’s partly due to the fact that she has spent most of her life with her nose in one book or another. It was only natural that she would go on to spin tales of her own. Now living her dream, she resides in Pennsylvania with her patient husband, one amazing daughter (the other remarkable daughter has flown the coop to chase her own dreams) and two spoiled cats. She’d love to hear from you via her website.
