Sean Morrison, one of six siblings and the top college baseball player in the country, is reeling from a heartbreakingly painful loss. Nothing seems to matter anymore...until the night Serena Britten unexpectedly ends up in his arms.

Serena is a world-famous model who has only ever wanted to be normal, even though her mother has always pushed her to become a superstar. Though it isn't easy to try to leave everyone and everything she knows behind, Serena is determined to enroll in college. More than anything, she wants to turn her love for books into a new career that she actually loves. Only, she never expected to meet someone like Sean on campus—or to be instantly consumed by their incredible chemistry and connection.

But when the pressures of her high-profile modeling career only get bigger and more demanding, will it make living a normal life as a college student—and falling in love with the hottest guy on campus—impossible?

My Thoughts:  Serena Britten is a top super-model who has spent her life trying to please her mom, and now is finally living her own dream of attending college, even if she does have to try to keep a low profile in order to avoid the press.  Sean Morrison is one of the top baseball players in the nation and has a very promising future ahead of him.  He is also suffering from a terrible loss that has him spiraling out of control and right into Serena Britten.  The chemistry between them is off the charts, but Serena soon realizes that in Sean's drunken state, taking things further is something she does not want to do.  Sean later feels terrible and is desperate to make things up to Serena.  Their ensuing relationship is heart-warming, sweet, and has that romantic sizzle all contemporary romance fans crave.  They face a lot of challenges along the way, but when the biggest of all presents itself, will their love be strong enough to stand the test.

Kiss Me Like This is romantic, sweet, and is one of those romances that just makes you feel good.  I really liked both Serena and Sean's characters, and enjoyed getting to know some of the secondary characters as well.  I loved watching their relationship develop and the healing they both experienced in the process.  The story itself was entertaining and enjoyable, and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.  If you are a fan of New Adult Contemporary Romance, then Kiss Me Like This is something you will want to add to your TBR list.

  1. Sounds like a sweet read, and I like the sounds of Serena and Sean. Great review.

  2. I like the premises of this one, besides the fact she is a model, really the idea behind it is pretty realistic. There are so many kids out there that do what their parents want instead of what they want growing up.

    Great review!
