Stacking the Shelves (6/29/13) and The Sunday Post

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.  Be sure to check out her site where you can find the link to the others participating in this meme.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

I didn't receive any review books this week, but I finally decided to try out some audio books.  Don't know what took me so long,.  My friend Nereyda has been telling me I need to joint Audible for a while now.  These are what I purchased from audible this week.  (I've already read a couple of these, but they were on sale and I have a 45 minute ride to and from work....so I thought I'd just listen again :)

  2. Wow! 45 minutes to and from work? I'm glad I live in a small town and have a 5 minute commute. Of course, that doesn't leave time for audiobooks. I hope you enjoy the ones you chose - both new and old. Come see what I got this week at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!

    1. The sad part is I only live 25 miles from where I work. It's just the traffic that takes so long to get through. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I think audio books are great if you have a long commute, I would definitely listen to more of them if I did.
Congrats on all the new books. :)

  5. YAY!

This post made me happy! Audiobooks are a lifesaver! I had to work an hour to and from work every day and that's what got me into audiobooks in the first place. I hope you like them. Relistening to some of your favorites is a great way to get into ausiobooks if youre a newbie. Thats' how I started. Now I can listen to audiobooks and pretty much do anything else.

I just heard Bad For You, Sebastian York's voice is so yummy! I hope you like him. That Shayna girl and Elizabeth Louise are great NA narrators too. The Clipped Wings book are amazing on audio if you haven't heard them. And Maybe Someday is probably my favorite audiobook.

I'm not a fan of Justine Eyre but a lot of people like her. Just remember, you can always return audiobooks if you don't like the narrator or the book. Let me know what you think!

    Happy listening!

    1. Thanks. I've been listening to Own the Wind. I didn't think I"d like audio as much, but I'm finding it just as captivating :)

  12. Dude, Ellen, I was apprehensive about audio books too. I've been traveling a ton this summer so I finally gave in. I had no idea what I was missing out on, they're AWESOME! I'm glad you're enjoying them.
