He's So Fine by Jill Shalvis: Release Day Launch with Review and Giveaway

He's So Fine
By Jill Shalvis
  • Series: A Lucky Harbor novel (Book 11)
  • Mass Market Paperback: 352 pages
  • Publisher: Grand Central Publishing; 11 edition (September 30, 2014)

Book Summary:
For Olivia Bentley, Lucky Harbor is more than the town where she runs her new vintage shop. It's the place where folks are friendly to strangers-and nobody knows her real name. Olivia does a good job of keeping her past buried, not getting too cozy with anyone . . . until she sees a man drowning. Suddenly she's rushing into the surf, getting up close and personal with the hottest guy she's ever laid hands on.

Charter boat captain Cole Donovan has no problem with a gorgeous woman throwing her arms around his neck in an effort to "save" him. In fact, he'd like to spend a lot more time skin-to-skin with Olivia. He's just not expecting that real trouble is about to come her way. Will it bring her deeper into Cole's heart, or will it be the end of Olivia's days in little Lucky Harbor?

HE'S SO FINE is available in mass market paperback, ebook and audio book formats wherever books are sold if you'd like to include retailers links in your post.

My Thoughts:  The Lucky Harbor Series is a set of companion novels that can each be read as a standalone, and has become one of those series that gives you that feeling of receiving a special treat each time a new installment comes out.  He's so Fine is one of those special treats.  Once again set in the beautiful town of Lucky Harbor, we get to read Cole and Oliva's story.  If you've read any of the previous novels, you will recognize who Cole Donovan is.  We briefly met Olivia in It's In His Kiss.  Cole, Sam, and Tanner run a boat charter company and happen to be three of the sexiest guys in town.  Olivia lives in the old warehouse next door which has been converted into several apartments.  Olivia also runs a little vintage shop in town.  She is a bit of a recluse, but she has her reason for being this way.  She is also a really sweet and caring person, despite what she did and who she was in her younger years.  Hiding and keeping her secret has been a way of life for her, a way of surviving, never allowing her to get too close to anyone.....that is until Cole comes into her life.  Cole Donovan is a hot sexy surfer who is one of the most stand-up guys you'll ever meet.  He also values honesty and expects it from those he cares about.  Cole had a bad relationship experience several years prior, having been hurt much deeper that he has ever let on, and has avoided relationships and women for the past 2 years.....until he meets Olivia.  Everything seems good, until secrets once buried come bubbling to the surface and then explode like a geyser.  Both Olivia and Cole have to face some tough decisions about their lives and their future, and whether they can remain together after it's all said and done.

To say these two have chemistry is putting it mildly, and the way they meet is both entertaining, endearing, and of course hot.  I really enjoyed both characters and as is Jill Shalivs' trademark style, she provides her readers with a romance that will make you laugh, smile, swoon, and root for the characters involved in the story.  I love that we also get to see glimpses of other characters from previous series as well.  He's So Fine is another wonderful contemporary romance that I thoroughly enjoyed, one which will "take you away" for several hours as you disappear into the the world of Lucky Harbor and enjoy the ride.  If you've never read anything by Jill Shalvis, I certainly would encourage you to do so if you are a contemporary romance fan.  She's quickly become one of my favorite authors and I've loved everything I've read by her so far.

Jill's Bio:
