The Dire Wolves Chronicles continue...
After you have sacrificed your freedom what else is there to lose?
Mary Anne has given her word to Hunter that she’ll stay as his mate, but every second she spends with him takes her further away from Gage when he needs her the most.
Caught between love and duty, Mary Anne discovers that her troubles are just beginning, and that sometimes love comes at a great price.
My Thoughts: Dusk is the second installment in Alyssa Rose Ivy's Dire Wolves Chronicles. I was anxious to see where Ivy would take the characters in this installment. I wasn't too crazy about Hunter in the first book, but knowing that Alyssa Rose Ivy has a talent for causing you to love the ones you originally can't stand, I couldn't wait to dive into this novel. True to form, I did come to really like Hunter. I even felt bad for him a little. Gage of course was still in the picture, and I wasn't sure what his role would end up being and how he would fit into Mary Anne's life. The ending surprised me and now I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the next book.
I am a huge fan of Alyssa Rose Ivy's Cresent Chronicles, the spin-off series The Empire Chronicles, and The Allure Chronicles even ties into these series which I especially enjoyed. I am really anxious to see how she is going to bring everything together in the next installment, while hoping everyone gets their happily ever after in the end.
