“This book devastated me in the most wonderful way,” raves Meredith Wild. In Sugar Daddy, the New York Times bestselling author of the Cold Fury series proves that vengeance is sweet—but seduction is to die for.

Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.

The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the na├»ve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.

Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!

My Review:  Being a Sawyer Bennett fan, I am always keeping my eyes and ears open for what new treats she has in store for her reading fans.  Needless to say, after seeing the cover, reading the description, accompanied by the fact that Sawyer Bennett wrote it, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Sugar Daddy, the first book in Bennett's Sugar Bowl series.  I was not disappointed, except for the fact that I didn't want it to be over.  I was caught up in the drama, suspense, mystery and yes, the oh so hot romance.  I will forever be thinking about something else whenever I hear the words "Sugar Bowl from this point on, and neither will you once you delve into the world that represents, at least in this series.

Right from the get go, you find yourself immersed in conspiracy.  The characters are the kind you love to love, except when they make you mad, and really even then as well.  Then, there is the one you love to hate, the evil one whose such a jerk I am just going to call him, "He who shall not be named."  Sela, the female lead in the novel, grew on me more and more as the story progressed. She's been through so much and has worked so hard to just try to live a normal life, keeping her heart bottled up tight because of trauma from her past.  Then there is Beck, who I loved, even when he made me really angry...I still have faith in him.  I enjoyed seeing the romance progress between Sela and Beck, even though it was something neither of them wanted or were even looking for, and in spite of "He who shall not be named."

The ending.......OMG.......you're killing me Sawyer Bennett, but you did warn us in advance, so fans, be prepared for one doosey of a cliffhanger.  I need the next two books yesterday.  Dying to see what happens next.  Great story by a great author.  Defnintely check this one out.
