Hartwell, Delaware—the perfect place to get away from it all, and find what you never knew you needed…

Bailey Hartwell has many reasons to feel content—her successful business, a close circle of friends, and her steady boyfriend…even if their romance feels staid after ten years without a serious commitment. The only challenge in her life comes in the form of sexy businessman Vaughn Tremaine. She thinks the ex-New Yorker acts superior and that he considers her a small-town nobody. But when Bailey’s blindsided by a betrayal, she’s shocked to discover Vaughn is actually a decent guy.

Vaughn admires Bailey’s free spirit, independence, and loyalty. As his passion for her has grown, his antagonism toward her has only worsened. Every little thing Bailey does seduces him. But when Vaughn’s painful emotional past makes him walk away in fear he will hurt her, it opens an old wound in Bailey, and she uncharacteristically retreats.

Once Vaughn begins to realize he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, he has no choice but to fight like he’s never fought before to convince Bailey that the love they’ve found together only comes around once in a lifetime.

My Review:  Fans of Samantha Young will love her Hart's Boardwalk Series.  Every Little Thing is the second book in the series and I absoltuely loved it.  While Every Little Thing can easily be read as a standalone novel, if you read The One Real Thing, the first book in the series, then you are already familiar with the main characters in this book, Bailey Hartwell and Vaugh Tremaine.  I loved Bailey in the The One Real Thing and have been impatiently awaiting her story, which most definitely did not disappoint.  I absolutely fell in love with her in Every Little Thing, and while I have been curious about the "real" Vaughn Tremaine, I can definitely say I totally loved him as well.

Bailey and Vaughn's love story is one that has had a slow build-up of hidden desire masked by the appearance that neither of these two could stand each other.  While Vaughn has always known he was attracted to Bailey, he just simply covered it up by his attitude.  Bailey, on the other hand, has been in denial about her attraction to Vaughn, and has convinced herself she can't stand him, despite the weird attraction she always feels when she sees him.  After a series of unfortunate events unfold, Bailey, who had previously been in a long-term relationship, is suddenly single again, something that Vaughn just doesn't know quite how to handle, and quite frankly, neither does Bailey.  After a dangerous event causes Vaughn to prove himself somewhat of a hero, gratitude ignites a red hot passion that these two aren't quite sure how to deal with after the fact.

I must say Vaughn does a good job in proving himself to Bailey, and just when he thinks he's won her over, he realizes that he doesn't think he can give her the one thing she needs most of all, and faces losing her altogether before realizing what a idiot he was.  If he thought proving himself was tough before, he has his work cut out for him this time, and while all this is happening, there is a lot of drama, fun, romance, and even a little danger in the mix that proves to be quite entertaining and enjoyable for the reader.  Vaughn totally won my heart by the end of the story.

If you love Samantha Young, you'll most definitely want to grab a copy of Every Little Thing just a soon as you can.  The books is awesome and something all contemporary romance fans will most definitely enjoy.  I can't wait to see what Young has in store for her readers in the next installment.
